ASK Long Beach Fam Jam at Silverado Skatepark 2026

About this event

Action Sports Kids Foundation is bringing a community skateboarding Fam Jam to Silverado Skatepark in West Long Beach on Saturday, October 17, 2026. ASK’s newest first-party Instagram announcement, posted October 3 and preceded by a matching September 22 announcement, gives a 12:00 PM start and names a raffle, food, and “Tricks for Dollars” with Ajax. The organizer has not published an end time, detailed run of show, advance entry form, entry fee, capacity, age brackets, contest divisions, raffle terms, food pricing, waiver process, or rain plan. This record therefore keeps those fields honestly unannounced and uses the exact current social post as the official event link. Silverado is a 5,000-square-foot city skatepark at 1545 West 31st Street built from renovated concrete ramps and street-style elements. Long Beach’s standing skatepark rules require helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and shirts; allow skateboards and inline skates only; prohibit bicycles, grinding shoes, food or drink on the skating surface, and added ramps or obstacles; and direct riders not to use the facility when a hazardous condition exists. The city lists skateparks as normally free, unsupervised, and open from dawn to 10:00 PM, but scheduled-event controls can supersede normal open use. ASK focuses on youth empowerment through skateboarding, yet the Fam Jam announcement does not publish an event-specific age limit or state whether Tricks for Dollars requires check-in. Spectators, riders, and families should review @asklongbeach shortly before arrival for any schedule, participation, weather, or venue clarification.
