Santa Ski Day returns to Crested Butte Mountain Resort for Winter 2026/27 on Saturday, December 19, 2026. Don your best Santa suit and join fellow holiday enthusiasts for a festive costumed ski parade down the mountain - a beloved CBMR tradition. Participants meet at the top of the Red Lady Express lift at 10:30 a.m. for a group photo, then ski Lower Twister together down to the base area at 11:00 a.m. Whether you channel classic Santa, Mrs. Claus, or your own creative holiday spirit, all ages and abilities who can descend the run are welcome. Because the parade starts at the top of Red Lady Express, participants need a valid lift ticket or season pass to ride up; there is no separate event registration or entry fee. Spectators can watch the jolly crowd arrive at the base area for free.
