Deer Valley Resort hosts the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup — its marquee winter event — on January 28-30, 2027, bringing the world's best moguls, dual moguls and aerials skiers to the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic freestyle courses (the Champion moguls run and White Owl aerials site) above the Silver Lake area. Long a highlight of the moguls and aerials season, the Deer Valley stop is known for its floodlit nighttime finals and huge slopeside crowds, and it is one of three U.S. World Cup freestyle stops in 2026-27 alongside Lake Placid and Waterville Valley. The 2026-27 season carries extra weight as an Olympic qualification year ahead of the 2026 Games, and Deer Valley is slated to host Olympic freestyle moguls and aerials again in 2034. General admission is free and open to the public; premium 'Freestyle Feast' VIP hospitality packages are expected to go on sale later in the fall. Athletes qualify and are entered through FIS and their national federations — this is not a public-entry competition — but spectators are welcome. Note: exact daily discipline order and start times for this edition had not yet been published as of early September 2026, and Deer Valley's own World Cup page still displayed the prior (2025-26) season's relocation notice at that time; the 2027 event is confirmed by the official FIS calendar, the U.S. Ski & Snowboard 2026-27 domestic World Cup schedule and Deer Valley's June 2026 announcement.
