ET Surf Contest - El Porto 2027

ET Surf Contest is the fifth stop of the South Bay Boardriders Club's 2026-27 Surf Series at El Porto in Manhattan Beach on Saturday, March 6, 2027. The current first-party schedule identifies ET Surfboards as host. SBBC lists 11 family-friendly divisions from Micro Grom Assist through Legends, including youth and adult shortboard and longboard opportunities. Current per-contest prices are $70 for SBBC members, $90 for non-members and $30 for each extra division. The organizer says registration opens soon: no current single-event checkout, deadline, capacity, waitlist or walk-up policy is published, and the visible bulk-entry checkout still names the prior 2025-26 season, so it is not treated as active registration. Heat times and the event schedule are expected on LiveHeats about 24 hours before competition; exact start/end times, contest bank, tower, check-in point, heat format, awards timing and finalist count remain TBA. The series awards points to every competitor and crowns division champions at season end. Spectating is at a public beach and no admission ticket is announced, but metered parking and posted beach rules remain separate. LA County lists Manhattan Beach at 400-4500 The Strand, identifies its north end as El Porto, and reports parking plus ADA parking; the City says the El Porto lot at 45th Street and The Strand has 238 spaces and closes at approximately 8:00 PM.
