Freedom Park BMX Raceway in Camarillo — the USA BMX-sanctioned dirt BMX track at Freedom Park by the Camarillo Airport in Ventura County — hosts its Halloween race night on Thursday, October 29, 2026: an Earned Double Points Race combined with a Halloween Trunk or Treat. Freedom Park calls itself "the raddest little track" and runs weekly Tuesday and Thursday race nights; on this Thursday the standard race night runs as a USA BMX double-points event, meaning riders earn double series points toward their standings, and the track adds a costume/Trunk or Treat celebration for the local BMX community. Racing is walk-on: open track practice and race sign-ups run from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, with racing starting as soon as possible after 6:30 PM. The track fee is $15 per racer, paid on-site at the main building, and every rider must have a USA BMX membership — a free one-day trial membership waiver (signed by a parent or guardian for riders under 18) is available at the track or online, a 60-day trial membership covers practice and single-point races only, and a full annual membership is $80/year paid directly to USA BMX; earning double points generally requires a current membership rather than the single-point trial. All ages and abilities are welcome, including a balance-bike class for riders age 5 and under. A trackside pro shop sells race gear, helmets, and bikes (no rentals), and a snack bar is on site. Spectating is free.
