26/27 Opening Day at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
About this event
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort officially opens for the 2026-27 winter season on Friday, November 27, 2026. One of North America's most iconic big-mountain ski areas fires up the Aerial Tram and lifts in Teton Village for first chair, kicking off a season on 2,500 acres of legendary terrain with 4,139 feet of continuous vertical and an average of 458 inches of snow a year. Grab a lift ticket or season pass and be there for the winter kickoff. Note: for the 2026-27 season, Ikon Pass and Mountain Collective passholders are required to make lift reservations. Early-season terrain and operating hours depend on conditions - check the mountain report before you go.
