About this event
The 12th Annual Laguna Beach Dirt Fondo is a non-race mountain-bike fundraiser presented by Laguna Canyon Riders Mountain Bike Team and Fix Manufacturing on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The confirmed 9:00 AM PST group rollout starts at Troy Lee Designs, 380 Glenneyre Street in downtown Laguna Beach, and finishes at Art-A-Fair, 777 Laguna Canyon Road, with food and drinks hosted by Laguna Beach Beer Company. Riders choose a 25- or 50-mile option through Laguna Coast Wilderness and Aliso and Wood Canyons. The marked first 25 miles mix singletrack, pavement and dirt roads, gain and descend about 3,000 feet, offer intermediate and advanced downhill choices, and include three aid stations with water and nutrition. The additional 25 miles are unmarked, self-guided and self-supported, add about 3,600 feet of climbing, and are intended only for riders who know the local trails and can navigate independently. Riders must reach Art-A-Fair by noon to continue on the 50-mile option so they can finish in daylight. Live registration is open for both distances at $99 plus a displayed $3.27 convenience fee ($102.27 total before any optional donation), with a 100-rider cap. Entry includes a limited-art Troy Lee Designs riding jersey, one drink ticket and one raffle ticket; all net proceeds benefit the youth team. Registration collects age, emergency contact and jersey size and requires agreement to a USA Cycling risk release, helmet rule, no-refund terms and cancellation policy. The current linked legacy waiver has parent/guardian and adult ride-partner lines for minors, but the live online waiver requires the signer to attest they are at least 18, so minors must contact the organizer before paying. The current Fix article contains a stale November 8, 2025 schedule heading beneath otherwise current 2026 event copy; its detailed 8:00 AM check-in through 4:00 PM last-rider-return program is retained as provisional, while the youth-team event page independently confirms the November 7, 2026 date and 9:00 AM start. Official 2026 route PDFs are linked. Parking is not reserved: the organizer recommends using city lots marked 'Canyon' near the finish and riding to the start. Recheck organizer channels for final schedule, trail/weather changes and parking conditions before departure.
