Liberty Mountain Resort in Carroll Valley, Pennsylvania hosts its Fall Festival & Ski Swap on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, combining a pre-season ski and snowboard gear swap with a family fall festival. At the Ski Swap, attendees can sell their used winter equipment and shop deals on skis, snowboards and gear ahead of the season (the resort's online form for selling used equipment is listed as coming soon). Liberty Mountain Sports runs a sale on demo equipment and winter wear from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and an Equipment Quick Tune and Seasonal Lease tent offers pre-season waxing, tuning and season-lease sign-ups. The festival side adds food trucks, a Dawg House bar, live entertainment (11:00 AM-2:00 PM in the base area), and kids' activities including a close-up display of snowmaking equipment and a winch-cat groomer, hourly pie-eating contests, face painting, a build-your-own s'mores station, a ski patrol meet-and-greet and lawn games. Admission is free.
