Snowboard Winter Kick Off Party is a free, three-hour community event at Sports Basement Orange County in Fountain Valley on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM PST. Altitude Attitude and Progression Sessions advertise prizes and giveaways, board tuning, a jib session, butter-pad activities, snacks, drinks and time to meet other snowboarders. The exact first-party flyer carries the date, complete event window, venue address, activity list, RSVP QR code and the rule that attendees must be present to win. The live organizer-controlled Eventbrite listing remains scheduled and on sale. Its current structured inventory reports a free $0 offer in stock, with sales opened October 13 at 12:00 AM PDT and scheduled to end November 5 at 6:00 PM PST, one hour before the published event end. TrickBook records registration as open; the organizer does not publish remaining quantity, a capacity, per-order limits, an RSVP cutoff separate from the live inventory, guaranteed walk-up entry, on-site signup or a waitlist. The public description welcomes both seasoned snowboarders and people getting ready to start the season, but it does not set an age, skill, residency, membership or gender restriction for this occurrence. Altitude Attitude's broader site focuses on women's snowboard camps, yet this event's own listing is written as a general public community invitation, so no women-only restriction is inferred. No rider waiver, guardian process or participant-selection method is linked. The organizer publishes the overall 4:00–7:00 PM window but no timed sequence for tuning, jibbing, butter-pad use, giveaways, snacks or drinks. Board-tuning scope, queue, included services and whether attendees must bring a board are not explained. Jib and butter-pad feature design, riding order, participant cap, helmet/pad rules, equipment rules, surface, snow substitute and staff supervision are also unpublished; riders should contact the organizer before bringing equipment or planning to ride. The prize items, drawing method, eligibility and collection process are unknown beyond the must-be-present rule. Sports Basement's current official Orange County store page corroborates the address, phone number and Thursday store hours of 10:00 AM–8:00 PM, placing the party fully inside published business hours. Neither the listing nor store page publishes event-reserved parking, a check-in point, a specific room, accessible activity setup, seating, food-allergy details or transit plan; Eventbrite supplies direct driving and public-transit directions. The listing does not specify whether the jib and butter-pad components are indoors or outdoors and gives no rain, heat, air-quality, cancellation or rescheduling policy. Recheck the official listing before travel.
