Harbour Chronicles: Shaping a Legacy returns home to Seal Beach for its final announced screening of 2026 on Friday, November 20, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM PST at the restored Bay Theatre. The award-winning 88-minute documentary follows Rich Harbour, the influential shaper behind Harbour Surfboards, and the multigenerational Seal Beach surf community that grew around the world’s longest-running surf shop. The filmmaker’s exact current announcement calls this the last screening of the year and says the film includes subtle scene refinements; it cites audience and cinematography awards plus festival selections in Newport Beach, Culver City, Wailuku, Waco and Dana Point. Bay Theatre’s live ticket inventory independently confirms the exact date, 7:30 PM start, 9:00 PM end, $20 ticket price and 262 auditorium seats remaining at verification time. Online tickets are open, and the venue FAQ says door sales may be available if a show is not sold out; the remaining-seat count can change, so advance purchase is the reliable option. This is an indoor surf-film screening and community gathering, not a surf contest or riding session: no athlete registration, divisions, equipment or skill requirement applies. The exact ticket listing shows no age restriction and labels the film NR. Bay Theatre says most events are all-ages unless noted, but it also requires a ticket for every attendee regardless of age and advises checking event-specific restrictions; no separate minor, guardian or lap-child exception is confirmed for this screening. The venue says doors typically open about one hour before showtime but can vary, so no exact door time is claimed. For wheelchair-accessible seating or other accommodations, contact the theatre in advance. Parking is available in the Chase Bank lot on Pacific Coast Highway after bank hours, with additional nearby street parking subject to posted rules. The venue prohibits weapons, outside food or beverages, large bags and professional cameras or recording equipment; bags and personal items may be inspected. No event-specific Q&A, raffle, livestream, replay, cancellation or postponement plan is announced for November 20. A stale calendar on the film’s own website still displays November 14 and should not be used for travel; the current collaborative organizer post and live venue ticketing system both control on November 20 at 7:30 PM.
