Mammoth Mountain hosts the sixth annual Futures Tour from Monday, February 15 through Thursday, February 18, 2027 in Unbound Main Park. The official resort page publishes an overall event window of 8:00 AM Monday through 4:00 PM Thursday and identifies the stop as a FIS/USASA-sanctioned slopestyle and halfpipe competition for freeskiers and snowboarders from across the United States. It is a development-pathway event: Mammoth describes the field as the next generation of professional riders competing for a chance to move to the next level, while USASA describes the Futures Tour as the starting point for athletes on a trajectory toward professional ranks. The competition is therefore useful both to qualified riders and to spectators following emerging freeski and snowboard talent. Detailed 2027 entry criteria, gender and age fields, quotas, fees, registration dates, daily discipline order, team-captains meetings, inspection and training blocks, start lists, results, weather holds, awards, lift-access requirements, and spectator access instructions are not yet public. USASA currently says more information for the season is coming soon, and the public Mammoth Unbound Series Team App shows no upcoming event cards without login. The resort directs riders and followers to that Team App for the authoritative schedule, start lists, results, and weather-delay updates when they are released. A 2026 criteria PDF remains linked by USASA and documents the prior-season pathway, but its 2026 dates, $175 fee, open/restricted entry rules, membership-license requirements, quotas, deadlines, and refund policy are not carried forward as 2027 facts. Mammoth says the event may change because of weather, conditions, or scheduling conflicts. Main Lodge parking and the free winter transit network serve the 10001 Minaret Road base area; the resort publishes a free Main Lodge parking shuttle every ten minutes from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, subject to current operations. The current event page also advertises a lodging deal but says booking details are still forthcoming.
