The San Onofre Surfing Club brings its multigenerational annual club contest back to San Onofre Surf Beach on October 3–4, 2026. Contestants must be available on the beach before 7:00 AM on both contest days. The Surf Beach kiosk opens at 6:00 AM, and the organizer strongly recommends joining the vehicle line much earlier because weekend capacity is routinely overwhelmed. Spectators do not need a separate event ticket, but San Onofre Surf Beach is a California State Parks day-use area with first-come parking; the current posted vehicle fee is $15 regular or $20 on special seasonal/holiday weekends and may change. This is a regionally relevant Los Angeles inventory event because San Onofre is a historic Southern California surf venue about 65 miles south of downtown LA and ocean contests necessarily follow the coast.
