Skinny Board Races brings its compact-board time-trial format to Peck Park Skate Park in San Pedro on Sunday, November 15, 2026. On-site sign-in and warm-ups begin at 10:00 AM PST. The current first-party flyer says entry is free and racing starts after everyone has signed in and completed practice runs, so there is no separately published fixed first-race time. Riders compete for the fastest time on a Peck Park course that the organizer describes as especially fast; the earlier save-the-date post says the large pocket at the end was removed from the route to better balance regular- and goofy-foot lines.

The organizer publishes two equipment classes. Class A is limited to boards with a 4.5-inch maximum axle and is described in the current profile as roller-skate-truck equipment. Class B permits a 6.9-inch maximum axle and is described as half tracks, Indy 109s or smaller. Fastest time wins. The current flyer also advertises prize purses, event shirts and stickers with artwork by Pete’s Pigs, and identifies Hardline Skate Shop, Huck Skateboards, Swivel and Concrete Disciples as presenters or supporters. Exact run count, timing method, tie-break procedure, course walk, awards time and prize inventory are not published.

This is an in-person grassroots skateboard race with on-site sign-in, not an online preregistration event. No capacity, waitlist, age minimum, guardian rule, waiver, helmet/pad requirement, skill minimum or spectator ticket is stated in the event posts. Those details remain explicitly unconfirmed rather than inferred. The city’s current Peck Park page confirms 560 North Western Avenue, San Pedro, phone (310) 548-7580, and ordinary facility hours that list Sunday as closed. Because the exact organizer announcement schedules this special event for Sunday morning, riders should recheck @skinnyboardraces and confirm park access before travel. The city needs-assessment page independently confirms a skate park at this address, and the official picnic map shows the skateboard park along Western Avenue with nearby park lots.

Fastest elapsed time wins in two axle-width classes. Class A has a 4.5-inch maximum axle; Class B has a 6.9-inch maximum axle. The organizer has not published run count, start order, timing hardware, penalties, reruns, DNF handling or tie-break rules.
