The MoonPay X Games League Winter Draft brings the launch of X Games’ first team-based winter season to Cosm Los Angeles in Inglewood on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Fans can watch live as four new region-based clubs—XC Whistler, XC Park City, XC New York and XC Golden State—build 10-athlete rosters from an approved international pool of elite freeskiers and snowboarders. The five-round snake draft makes eight selections per round: every club chooses one man and one woman in each round, finishing with five women and five men, and both skiing and snowboarding must be represented on every team. Forty athletes will be drafted for the three-stop 2027 XGL Winter Season; undrafted eligible athletes remain available as free agents or injury replacements. The current pool includes Eileen Gu, Kelly Sildaru, Alex Hall, Henrik Harlaut, Mathilde Gremaud, Gus Kenworthy, Scotty James, Cocomo Murase, Mark McMorris, Jamie Anderson, Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, Red Gerard and more than 100 approved athletes listed on the official page; athlete attendance is not guaranteed unless X Games announces it. General-admission doors open at 6:00 PM, the live draft begins at 7:00 PM, and Fever currently lists an 8:30 PM finish. An older X Games announcement says 9:00 PM, so attendees should follow the live ticket page and venue instructions. The $150 GA ticket grants third-floor access with mixed seating, first-come Dome seating, and food plus beer or wine for guests 21 and older. The event is all ages, but Cosm requires every guest under 18 to stay with an adult; one adult may supervise up to four minors. This is a ticketed live draft show rather than an on-snow competition or public athlete tryout. It will also stream live through X Games on YouTube, Roku Sports Channel, Kick, and ESPN+/the ESPN App. Cosm’s venue is fully accessible, with accessible seating and elevators; its adjacent PS3 garage offers four hours of validation and first-floor ADA/EV spaces.
