Black Mountain's 26/27 Black Sheep Seasonal Program is a coached youth ski-and-snowboard progression program for ages 3-13. The current registration product schedules training from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, beginning December 19, 2026 and ending with a bonus celebration day on April 3, 2027. The official current-season schedule graphic marks 20 training days across 10 weekends, followed by the April 3 celebration. Small groups focus on progression, safety, teamwork and fun; age-appropriate terrain work ranges from foundational skills to all-mountain skiing or riding, with uphill and backcountry exposure for older participants. Registration is open at $999, payment plans are offered, and the resort says fewer than five spots remain. Lift access is not included: participants need a qualifying Gold-or-higher season pass or valid lift tickets for all program dates. The general snow-school page shows an older Dec 26-Mar 14 time block that conflicts with the live 26/27 product, so the live product and its current 26/27 schedule graphic control this listing.

Young skiers and snowboarders ages 3-13. The official program overview groups participants as U6 (3-5), U8 (5-7), U10 (7-9) and U14 (10-13). Terrain and skills are matched to age and ability; uphill/backcountry exposure is for ages 5+.

The program closes with a bonus celebration day on April 3; no competition prizes are advertised.

This is a progression program, not a scored competition; no results are expected.

Attitash Adult Race League 2027

McIntyre Ski Area's Adult Race League returns for the 2026-27 season with six weeks of Tuesday-night NASTAR racing at Manchester's Winter Playground. Racers get two timed runs each week from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with weekly awards based on the best run, followed by open fun runs, a buffet dinner in the lodge and access to the bar. Race nights run Jan 12, 19 and 26 and Feb 2, 9 and 16, 2027, with a closing awards banquet on March 9. Racers can sign up with coworkers, friends or as an individual and be placed on a team. The league is NASTAR-affiliated and NASTAR registration is required to participate. Because alcohol is served on premises, all racers must be 21 or older (IDs are checked). The resort confirmed on Facebook that registration is now open; per-racer and per-team pricing and the exact registration deadline are not clearly published (the on-page deadline shows a December 1 date whose year appears un-updated), so those are stored as pending rather than inferred.
