Riviera Grill Surf Contest - Torrance Beach 2027

Riviera Grill Surf Contest is the fourth stop of the South Bay Boardriders Club's 2026-27 Surf Series at Torrance Beach on Saturday, February 27, 2027. The current first-party schedule identifies Riviera Grill as host, while the host's official site uses its full name, Riviera Mexican Grill. SBBC lists 11 family-friendly divisions from Micro Grom Assist through Legends, including youth and adult shortboard and longboard opportunities. Current per-contest prices are $70 for SBBC members, $90 for non-members and $30 for each extra division. The organizer says registration opens soon: no current single-event checkout, deadline, capacity, waitlist or walk-up policy is published, and the visible bulk-entry checkout still names the prior 2025-26 season, so it is not treated as active registration. The series awards points to every competitor and crowns division champions at season end. Spectating is at a public beach and no admission ticket is announced, but parking fees and posted beach rules remain separate. Los Angeles County lists Torrance Beach at 387 Paseo de la Playa with more than 300 spaces, ADA parking, an access mat, beach wheelchair, ramp, restrooms, showers and daylight lifeguards.
