About this event
World Skate's 2026 Scootering Challenger in Shenzhen is a four-day indoor street-scooter ranking event at P1B inside the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Center Gymnasium. Thursday, November 26 is provisionally practice; Friday through Sunday combine practice and competition. Men's, Women's and mixed-gender Junior categories are offered. Men's and Women's entrants must be at least 12; Junior riders must be 12 on the first official-practice day and no older than 17 on the final competition day. Eligible 12–17-year-olds choose senior or Junior Street, but a rider who has completed a run in senior Street at a World Skate ranking event or continental championship cannot later return to Junior Street. Registration is handled only by the local organizing committee from October 8 through November 5; World Skate Bulletin 01 announces $50 senior and $25 Junior fees but says the process itself will be supplied in a later bulletin, so athletes should use the governing-body contacts rather than an unofficial form. An Infinity profile with current passport and anti-doping certificate is required for validation and ranking points; an athlete without a complete profile may compete but receives no World Ranking points. The event awards up to 20,000 ranking points for first place. Senior Men's and Women's prize money is equal: $2,500 / $1,500 / $1,000; Junior has no purse. Times, confirmed format, field-of-play design, spectator admission, broadcast, parking and event-specific accessibility arrangements were not published at verification and should be rechecked before travel.
At a glance
Men's and Women's Street: age 12+. Junior Street: mixed gender, ages 12–17 across the event dates. A 12–17-year-old may choose senior or Junior Street, but completing a run in senior Street at a World Skate ranking event or continental championship permanently ends Junior Street eligibility for later World Skate ranking events/continental championships in that discipline.
