Apple Valley BMX Moto Park hosts a USA BMX-sanctioned Bob Warnicke single-points scholarship race on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at its outdoor dirt track in Apple Valley, California. USA BMX’s exact live event record identifies the occurrence as “Bob Warnicke SINGLE POINTS,” posts on-site registration from 5:30 to 7:00 PM PDT and says racing starts ASAP. The track’s first-party same-day flyer is more specific for attendees: registration and practice run 5:30–6:45 PM, racing follows, and all fees are $10. Use the flyer’s earlier 6:45 PM cutoff and arrive with time to complete membership and release checks.

This is a fundraiser race for the Bob Warnicke Scholarship Program. USA BMX says local Warnicke races fund scholarships for BMX racers, members and track officials pursuing undergraduate college, trade school and other educational paths; its 2026 program awarded $57,000. The Apple Valley flyer says “racing for a cause” and “BMX to the next degree.” It also says there is no trophy tonight—certificates only—and tacos will be sold in the snack bar.

Registration is on site; neither the exact event page nor the track’s same-day announcement provides advance checkout, capacity, waitlist, transfer or refund terms. The $10 flyer price is treated as the total event-day fee, but the exact payment methods and whether spectators pay are not published. USA BMX’s current membership page offers Standard, Gold, Balance Bike, one-day trial and 60-day trial memberships, but this occurrence does not say which trial memberships may race or earn points. New riders should contact the track before travel to confirm membership, waiver, race-class, balance-bike, loaner-bike and loaner-helmet eligibility. Minors need a parent or legal guardian to complete required membership/release signatures.

USA BMX classifies racers by age, gender, proficiency and wheel size. Exact October 29 class combinations, moto counts, transfers and certificate distribution depend on entries and are not published in advance. Current USA BMX gear guidance requires an approved helmet, long-sleeved shirt and long pants; a full-face helmet and gloves are recommended. Riders also need a safe race-ready bicycle and closed-toe flat-soled shoes.

Apple Valley BMX Moto Park is in San Bernardino County’s High Desert, roughly 85 road miles from central Los Angeles and within this inventory’s Inland Empire footprint. USA BMX lists the venue at 24320 Highway 18 and coordinates 34.484796, -117.130651. No event-specific parking, transit, accessibility, weather threshold, cancellation procedure, livestream or finish time is published. Recheck the exact event page and @applevalleybmxmotopark before travel.
