Yucaipa Adventure Company’s Hops & Spokes Mountain Bike Classic returns to El Dorado Ranch Park on Saturday, January 16, 2027 for a six-hour endurance mountain-bike race with solo, two-person and four-person relay entry. Race-morning bib pickup opens at 6:30 AM, riders must be at the start line by 7:45 AM, and racing begins at 8:00 AM. The last-lap cutoff is strictly 2:00 PM: a rider may finish a final lap only if it begins before that cutoff. Four-person teams may have one rider on course at a time and must exchange at the designated start/finish area. The organizer lists a current public course route, but anonymous Strava access exposes only the route title—not lap mileage or elevation—so those figures are intentionally left unpublished. Crew may set up in the grass near start/finish and may assist from the course while staying clear of riders. A start/finish aid station will offer food and drink; racers should bring the specific fuel they use in training. Free parking is at the park entrance and bathrooms are near the lot. After racing, awards and an all-welcome gathering are announced at Hops & Spokes Brewing Company; the organizer does not publish an exact awards start or finish time. Registration is open through UltraSignup until Thursday, January 14 at 11:59 PM Pacific. Current all-in prices are $87.50 solo, $163.25 per duo team and $323 per four-person relay team, including listed taxes and fees. The organizer does not publish a participant cap, waitlist, onsite entry, refund/transfer policy, age floor, youth guardian process or detailed waiver terms, so none are inferred. The official event page requires “proper safety gear” but does not enumerate it; riders should use a properly fitted cycling helmet and confirm any additional requirements directly. The current 2027 registration page carries a copied sentence saying recent storms did not change the course and the weather “looks perfect”; because that language cannot reliably describe January conditions three months ahead, TrickBook treats it as stale template text rather than a weather guarantee. A venue-address discrepancy is also preserved: UltraSignup directs racers to 37186 Oak Glen Road while the City of Yucaipa venue page lists 37216 Oak Glen Road. Follow race-day organizer directions and the event map rather than relying on the civic listing alone.

Six-hour timed endurance race on a repeated MTB loop. Solo, duo and four-person relay products are open. Four-person teams race one rider at a time and exchange at start/finish; total completed distance/laps within the window determines performance. The current public route is titled “Hops and Spokes MTB Classic Route,” but lap mileage, elevation, timing provider, tie-break procedure, podium categories and prize structure are not published.
