Royal Gorge Cross Country — North America's largest cross-country ski resort, on Donner Summit near Lake Tahoe — kicks off its 2026-27 Nordic season on opening weekend, Friday, November 27, 2026, with the trails open from 8:30 AM. Come out to demo new cross-country and skate ski equipment, learn about the RGXC youth ski teams and programs, browse new ski jackets and RGXC logowear, and get the lowdown on everything Royal Gorge has to offer for the winter ahead. A great low-key way to start the season on the groomed Nordic trails of the Sierra.
