About this event
Solitude celebrates New Year's Eve, December 31, 2026, with the best show on snow: resort staff ski down the mountain as a synchronized, torch-lit team, and as the parade reaches the lower mountain a fireworks display lights up the sky. The evening's on-snow program runs alongside an Alphorn Concert (3:00 - 4:00 p.m.) and the Soli Parks Steel Showdown rail jam (4:00 - 5:00 p.m.), building to the torchlight parade and fireworks. The event is free; refreshments are available for purchase. Moonbeam-entry parking is recommended, with a free shuttle running between Moonbeam, Last Chance Lodge, and Solitude Village until 8:30 p.m.
