About this event

Summer Surf Off is the tenth and currently final listed stop of the South Bay Boardriders Club's 2026-27 Surf Series at Manhattan Beach Pier on Saturday, July 31, 2027. SBBC presents it as a family-friendly local contest with 11 divisions from Micro Grom Assist through Legends, including youth and adult shortboard and longboard opportunities. Current per-contest prices are $70 for SBBC members, $90 for non-members and $30 for each extra division. Registration is not closed: the organizer currently says registration opens soon, with no single-event checkout, deadline, capacity, waitlist, same-day or walk-up policy published. The visible bulk-entry checkout still names the prior 2025-26 season and is not treated as active registration. Heat times and the full event schedule are expected on LiveHeats about 24 hours before competition; exact start/end times, north-or-south contest bank, check-in point, heat format and awards timing remain TBA. Spectating is at a public beach and no admission ticket is announced. LA County lists surfing, public parking, ADA parking, an access mat, beach-wheelchair access and transit for Manhattan Beach; city parking meters and posted limits remain in effect. Recheck SBBC, LiveHeats and organizer Instagram before registering or traveling.
