Team Bear High Altitude Camp at Mammoth Mountain — January 2027

Team Bear’s January High Altitude Camp is a four-day freeski and snowboard training trip for accepted Team Bear athletes at Mammoth Mountain from Thursday, January 21 through Sunday, January 24, 2027. Big Bear Mountain Resort lists it as a $599 add-on to a Team Bear program and explicitly limits add-on camps to current Team Bear members; athletes who have not been accepted may only request the separate March Intro Camp. Team Bear serves freestyle skiers and snowboarders ages 6–17, but the organizer has not published a camp-specific minimum skill level, roster limit, checkout deadline, training group, coach list, course, meeting point, transportation package, lodging package, meal plan, or day-by-day timetable for the Mammoth trip. The general Team Bear training table lists Friday 9:00 AM–3:00 PM and Saturday–Sunday 8:30 AM–2:30 PM, yet it is not labeled as this travel camp’s schedule and Thursday hours are absent, so all daily camp times remain TBA here. The $599 fee does not include Mammoth lift access. Participants must separately buy Mammoth Mountain tickets or use a valid Ikon Pass; BBMR’s discounted Team Bear home-mountain pass and training-day ticket options do not cover Mammoth. Team Bear purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not for resale, and camp operations may change for weather and mountain conditions. Mammoth is included as a narrow LA-relevant regional exception because this is an official travel camp for Big Bear’s Southern California youth freestyle team at a major mountain destination with high-altitude snow terrain unavailable in the LA core.
