About this event

Temecula Skate Park 2.0 is scheduled to open Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Ronald Reagan Sports Park. Neighborhood Drop In, the local nonprofit that worked with the City on the redesign, published the exact opening flyer on October 15; a current Temecula councilmember announcement independently says “TSP 2.0 goes live on November 21st.” The rebuilt public park is intended for non-motorized skateboards, BMX bikes, freestyle scooters and rollerblades/skates. City project material describes a redesigned street plaza with street and transition features, improved lighting, durable surfaces, shade and accessibility improvements for casual users through advanced riders. Opening-day time, ceremony, demonstrations, vendors, giveaways and any organized run of show have not been announced. The City’s general skate-park page says regular use is free and normally runs 8:00 AM–8:00 PM except Sundays until sunset, but it still labels the park closed for renovation; do not treat those routine hours as a confirmed November 21 opening schedule. The project page also still lists a December dedication, while the nonprofit profile bio says December, so the newer event-specific posts control the November 21 opening date but visitors should recheck the organizer or City before traveling. Helmet, elbow pads and knee pads are required, riders must bring their own gear, motorized devices are excluded, the park is mixed-use and it closes during wet weather. The skate-park entrance is listed at 42569 Margarita Road; the wider 128-acre sports park also has restrooms, picnic areas and multiple sports facilities. No opening-day registration, ticket, fee, capacity, waiver, age restriction, spectator plan, parking plan, livestream or cancellation procedure is currently published.
