About this event

Thank Gravel It's Friday's sixth Endless Summer brings its surf-film-inspired gravel adventure to Calabasas for a free, noncompetitive day in the Santa Monica Mountains. Riders check in at Pedalers Fork from 7:00-7:50 AM, hear the route and safety briefing, and roll at 8:00 AM. The group stays together to the first climb; after that it is self-paced with no formal regroups and it is explicitly not a no-drop ride. Two current organizer-linked loops start and finish at Pedalers Fork: the easier route is labeled Luau on the event page and Menehune in Ride with GPS (about 37.6 miles, 3,749 feet of climbing and 51% unpaved), while Big Kahuna is about 53.5 miles, 6,195 feet and 60% unpaved. TGIF still marks distances as subject to confirmation, so riders must download and study the live route immediately before the event. Aid stations provide supplemental water, hydration and snacks, but riders must be self-sufficient with a working gravel bike, climbing-friendly gearing, 45 mm or larger tires recommended, helmet, food, water, layers, navigation and repair supplies. Entry is free through a five-step Rndvu RSVP; an optional donation supports mental-health advocacy and is nonrefundable if the rider cancels. The public TGIF waiver requires every signer to be 18 or older. A detailed rider guide is emailed a few days before the ride, and the finish includes an afterparty at Pedalers Fork. No race timing, results, podiums or spectator program is offered.
