About this event
The U.S. Pro Cup brings elite, junior and amateur cross-country mountain-bike racing to Vailocity Bike Park at Temecula KOA at Vail Lake on April 9-11, 2027. The organizer confirms the three dates on its California event page and current @uscupmtb profile, describes the series as cross-country and short-track racing, and says its non-UCI categories welcome a broad range of ages and skill levels. Its current home page says 2027 registration will open in January 2027, so this record is marked Not Yet Open: the California page's visible Register Now button still routes to the 2026 BikeReg occurrence and is not presented as a live 2027 entry link. The same caution applies to the linked event schedule, race FAQ, UCI guide and course maps, which are still labeled 2026; they are useful prior-edition context only and do not establish the 2027 start list, fees, categories, race-day times or course. Expect a mix of UCI-focused XCO/XCC fields and USA Cycling/non-UCI age-category racing, but wait for the 2027 athlete guide before choosing a division or license. The organizer says online registration data are pulled two days before each race start for UCI fields and USA Cycling races with at least 24 riders, yet it has not published the 2027 close time, pricing, capacity, waitlist, on-site entry or waiver process. Vailocity has about 25 miles of maintained cross-country, enduro, downhill and gravel terrain; the host resort allows trail day visitors and bans Class 3, unlimited and Surron/Talaria e-bikes, while permitting Class 1 and qualifying Class 2 e-bikes generally. Race-specific e-bike fields and equipment rules remain TBA. The venue is about 95 road miles southeast of central Los Angeles and is retained as a major Southern California UCI/USA Cycling pathway event at purpose-built terrain. Spectator admission, parking fees, accessible viewing, food/expo hours, packet pickup, team load-in, livestream links and weather/cancellation terms should be rechecked when the 2027 packet replaces the stale 2026 resources.
