About this event
Winter4Kids opens the National Winter Activity Center to families for Community Day — "Winter Starts Here," a public ski-and-ride open house that kicks off the winter season. Families can meet the Winter4Kids team, explore the mountain, and learn about opportunities for kids of all ages and experience levels, including the First Tracks scholarship program, the Ski & Snowboard School, and the Team W4K race program. Whether a child has never been on snow or is ready to progress to the next level, the day is set up as an easy entry point to skiing and snowboarding, with time to simply ski and ride. Lift tickets for the day are $50 for adults and $25 for children under 12. The event runs 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the National Winter Activity Center, 44 Breakneck Road, Vernon, NJ.
