Andy Hetzel is an American pro snowboarder who grew up skateboarding in Arizona before moving to Breckenridge, turning pro, and running with the skate-influenced crew ('the Palmer and Ranquet types') that The Powell Movement credits with creating snowboarding's early derelict lifestyle culture. He rode for Kemper Snowboards — he was part of the brand's original pro team — then Lamar and then Palmer, was featured in magazines and videos while riding with a crew of legends out of Lake Tahoe, and logged backcountry adventures in Japan and Alaska. A Whitelines interview with Jeff Brushie notes Hetzel later worked as a real estate agent. Note: his specific Standard Films 'TB7: North of Heaven' (1998) part could not be verified from sources fetched for this profile, so that credit is omitted.
