Austin Smith is an American backcountry/freeride snowboarder who joined The North Face team in 2017, announced by Whitelines alongside an Alaska part described as 'balls to the wall charging mixed with technical precision.' He is a featured rider in The North Face's full-length film 'blitz!' (released December 17, 2024, directed by Colton Feldman) alongside Jake Blauvelt, Cole Navin, Spencer Schubert, Blake Paul, and Kennedi Deck. Smith calls Mt. Bachelor home, is known for his Northwest freeride roots, previously rode for Nike and Nitro, owns the board company Season, and signed with Northwave boots in January 2026.
