Aya Sato

Aya Sato is a Japanese snowboarder from Tsunan, Niigata, Japan (also her current residence), who rides for the K2 Snowboarding International AM Team; K2 describes her as 'an absolute force in the women's freeride space' with impeccable style, riding regular stance with about 25 years on a snowboard. In December 2025 she was a featured rider in 'Tumbleweed', K2 Snowboarding's short film by Seamus Foster filmed in Idaho, Utah and BC, alongside Curtis Ciszek, Jake Kuzyk and others. Note: K2 positions her as a freeride rider; the 'street rider' characterization could not be substantiated from fetched sources.
