Jeremy Jones (born January 14, 1975, in Cape Cod, Massachusetts) is regarded as a pioneer of professional big-mountain snowboarding, known for foot-powered backcountry expeditions and for directing and starring in the film trilogy Deeper (2010), Further (2012), and Higher (2014). In 2007 he founded the climate-advocacy nonprofit Protect Our Winters, where he remains founder and president, and in 2009 he founded Jones Snowboards, a leading brand in the splitboard market. He has been a professional snowboarder since 1991 and was named a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year nominee in 2012; he lives in Truckee, California.
