Kazuhiro 'Kazu' Kokubo (born August 16, 1988 in Ishikari, Hokkaido) is a Japanese snowboarder who won back-to-back US Open halfpipe titles in 2010 and 2011, took Winter X Games 2010 SuperPipe bronze and 2007 FIS World Championships halfpipe silver, and rode for Japan at the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics. He has since become what CAPiTA calls 'a backcountry and style icon' with 'one of the most impressive and inspiring approaches to all-mountain freestyle terrain', with signature CAPiTA Kazu Kokubo Pro boards and a Dakine signature pro line, and he appears in DEELUXE's 2022 team movie 'Team Effort'. He also became a technical coach for Japan's national snowboard team and mentored Olympic champion Ayumu Hirano.
