Kevin Bäckström is a Swedish professional snowboarder and co-founder of Beyond Medals, the crew-turned-outerwear brand he has run with Tor Lundström since 2012 after the pair were kicked off the Swedish national snowboard team. He rides in Beyond Medals' 2025 film "Cease and Desist" (filmed in Japan, the US, Canada and Laax), which the crew made in response to a cease-and-desist letter from the International Olympic Committee over apparel featuring a modified five-ring logo. The crew's ethos is described as anti-establishment, prioritizing "style & vision over spins & wins".
