Nicholas Wolken is a co-founder of the Swiss snowboard brand Korua Shapes, born and raised in Switzerland from Australian and American roots, where he develops the brand's out-of-the-box board shapes. He started out in racing before shifting to freestyle and freeriding, and has since come full circle to focus on the essence of snowboarding and perfecting the art of the turn; off the snow he is a psychologist, activist and Patagonia ambassador. He is a featured rider in Korua's film output, including the Japan-filmed short 'Mochi Yuki' (released March 2025) and the ongoing Yearning for Turning video series.
