Severin van der Meer is a professional backcountry snowboarder and Arc'teryx team athlete. He starred alongside Elena Hight and Jared Elston in Arc'teryx's film Every Island Has A Name (premiered October 2024, shot in Alaska, Japan, and the Swiss Alps) and in the follow-up Between Days (released December 16, 2025), which documented 23 days riding Tadashi Fuse's program around Myoko, Japan. He also appeared in Beyond Medals' 2025 full movie Cease and Desist.
