Boarding For Breast Cancer's 19th Annual Skate The Coast is a two-day Los Angeles County skate-bike-roll fundraiser presented by LivOn Labs. The live registration campaign now places Friday's October 23 registration party at The Deck Hermosa Beach, 1272 The Strand, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Participants can sign waivers, collect the included event tee and goodie bag, and stay for live music, drinks, raffles, and auctions. This supersedes the earlier Firestone Walker venue still shown on B4BC's separate event overview and older editorial listings. On Saturday, October 24, participants should arrive at Dive N Surf in Redondo Beach at 7:00 AM for check-in and shuttle loading; B4BC's day-of post says the shuttle leaves at 7:30 AM sharp. The 15-mile coastal roll starts from Santa Monica Pier's north-side parking lot at 8:30 AM. The route follows the Strand through Blauer Venice, Marina del Rey Parking Lot #5, Dockweiler State Beach and Noble Park before a 12:30 PM target finish at Dive N Surf. The finish-line party runs from noon to 3:00 PM with live music, food, adult beverages, raffle prizes, a silent auction and fundraising awards. The official B4BC overview calls the Dockweiler drop-in seven miles, while the live campaign calls it eight; the location and 10:30 AM drop-in time agree, so participants should treat the shorter-route mileage as approximately seven to eight miles and follow the live campaign. The event is non-competitive and open to anyone on wheels of all ages and abilities; TrickBook classifies skateboarding and rollerblading, while noting that bicycles and other human-powered wheels are also welcomed. Registration remains active through the official campaign. Every skater must raise at least $50; entry includes the event shirt, goodie bag and raffle tickets. Every $100 raised earns ten extra raffle tickets, raising more than $150 earns Yeti drinkware, and prizes go to the top three individual and team fundraisers. At the October 23 day-of update, the campaign had raised $48,840 toward its $75,000 goal and its REGISTER control remained enabled. A virtual option lets remote participants roll locally, post with @b4bc and #skatethecoast, receive a mailed shirt and earn one virtual raffle ticket per $10 raised. Capacity, registration cutoff, waitlist, youth guardian terms, required protective equipment, weather policy, refunds and livestream remain unpublished.
