B4BC's 19th Annual Skate The Coast — Los Angeles 2026
About this event
Boarding For Breast Cancer's 19th Annual Skate The Coast is a two-day Los Angeles County skate-bike-roll fundraiser presented by LivOn Labs. The weekend opens Friday, October 23, 2026 with a 3:00–8:00 PM registration party at Firestone Walker's Venice Taproom in Marina del Rey, where participants can sign waivers, collect the included event tee and goodie bag, and stay for live music, drinks, raffles, and auctions. Saturday begins at 7:30 AM with a participant shuttle from Dive N Surf in Redondo Beach to the Santa Monica Pier. The main 15-mile coastal roll starts at 9:00 AM from the pier's north-side parking lot, follows the Strand with hydration stops at Arbor Venice and Marina del Rey Parking Lot #5, offers an 8-mile South Bay drop-in at Dockweiler State Beach at 11:00 AM, passes Noble Park in Hermosa Beach, and targets a 1:00 PM finish at Dive N Surf. A finish-line celebration runs there from noon to 4:00 PM with music, food, adult beverages, raffle prizes, a silent auction, and fundraiser awards. The ride is non-competitive and open to anyone on wheels of all ages and abilities; TrickBook classifies the eligible skate modes as skateboarding and rollerblading while noting that bicycles and other human-powered wheels are also welcomed by the organizer. Registration is active through the official campaign. There is no fixed entry fee published, but every skater must raise at least $50. Entry includes the shirt, goodie bag, and raffle tickets; every $100 raised earns ten extra raffle tickets, raising more than $150 earns Yeti drinkware, and prizes go to the top three individual and team fundraisers. A virtual option lets remote participants register, roll a local path, post with @b4bc and #skatethecoast, receive a mailed shirt, and earn one virtual raffle ticket per $10 raised. The organizer has not published capacity, a registration cutoff, a waitlist, detailed road-control or emergency support, youth guardian terms, required protective equipment, a weather policy, refunds, or a livestream, so participants should recheck the live campaign before travel.
