Thrasher Thursdays is Los Angeles Public Library's free weekly teen skate-video screening series at Teen'Scape inside the landmark Central Library in downtown Los Angeles. Each one-hour session pairs recent videos from Thrasher Magazine with skateboarding classics from the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s, making it a low-pressure scene and culture meetup for teen skaters, film fans and newcomers. The current first-party schedule lists 13 future Thursday sessions from September 17 through December 17, 2026, all from 4:30 to 5:30 PM in the America/Los_Angeles timezone. No advance registration, admission charge, ticket, library card, riding component, athlete field, contest format or equipment requirement is announced; this is an indoor viewing program, not an open skate session. The audience is explicitly teens, while LAPL does not publish a narrower age or grade range, room capacity, playlist, check-in process or late-arrival policy. Central Library is open until 8:00 PM on Thursdays.
