About this event
Bear Bowl XI is a free, four-person on-snow team challenge at Bear Mountain on Saturday, February 13, 2027. Ten teams compete across a relay race for speed, a tire course for agility, and field-goal kicking for accuracy; the highest combined score wins. Same-day registration runs from 10:00 AM to noon on a first-come basis, followed by the rules review and course walk at 12:30 PM, practice and competition at 1:00 PM, and awards at about 2:00 PM while DJ Slipmatt plays on hill until 3:00 PM. Every participant needs a valid 2026/27 lift ticket or season pass and a signed liability waiver; a parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 18. The organizer’s current photos and embedded prior-year recap show snowboard participants, so TrickBook classifies this as snowboarding; the page does not explicitly confirm whether skiers may enter. Bear Mountain is a major Southern California terrain-park venue roughly 100 miles from central Los Angeles, making the event regionally relevant where an urban on-snow equivalent is unavailable.
At a glance

The event page calls entrants riders and shows snowboarders but does not expressly say whether skis are accepted.
