About this event
Surfside Sports opens its Costa Mesa shop for the 34th Annual Snowboard Carnival on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM PST. The current organizer flyer advertises a preseason sale, a raffle, tons of free gear, professional snowboarder signings and a broad group of snowboard, outerwear and resort brands. Headline names on the flyer include Burton, Jones Snowboards, Volcom, Arbor Snowboards, Lib Tech, Union Binding Company, Patagonia, Forum, Public, Salomon, Vans, 1910, 686 and Capita; smaller print also names Dakine, Skullcandy, Sims, Bent Metal, GNU, Roxy, Oakley, Smith, Dragon, Anon, Mountain High, Bear Mountain and others. Big Bear Mountain Resort separately confirms that it will participate with vendor booths, games, pro snowboarder signings, a large raffle and select in-store deals. This is a retail and community kickoff rather than an on-snow contest or ride session: no riding course, athlete divisions, equipment demo, qualification or spectator seating is advertised. The organizer invites the public to arrive when doors open, but neither first-party source publishes an RSVP link, admission price, numeric capacity, raffle purchase rules, signing roster/times, itemized sale list or giveaway quantities. Treat admission cost as unannounced rather than assuming the event is free. The store is next to Sprouts Market at 233 East 17th Street. Surfside’s official site shows a surface lot with accessible spaces, but no event-specific parking allocation or overflow plan is published. Contact Surfside at (949) 645-4624 for admission, parking or accommodation questions before travel.
