Bibra Lake Skatepark Scooter & BMX Competition 2026

About this event

Freestyle Now and the City of Cockburn bring a public scooter-and-BMX skatepark competition to Walliabup (Bibra Lake) Skate Park on Sunday, November 15, 2026. The scooter program checks in at noon and competes from 12:30–2:00 PM; BMX checks in at 2:30 PM and competes from 3:30–6:00 PM. Both sports offer Beginner, Intermediate and Open divisions. Riders may enter only one division but may enter both disciplines. Every competitor receives two individual one-minute runs, the better run counts, and there are no finals. Judges score difficulty, diversity and consistency, each on a 20-point scale. Helmets are compulsory. Registration is currently open through the organizer-controlled LiveHeats event; the field is capped by division, and Freestyle Now says same-day registration is available only if vacancies remain. At verification, LiveHeats showed 45 total entries across six divisions, including five spots left in Scooter Beginner, ten in Scooter Intermediate, eight in Scooter Open, three in BMX Beginner, five in BMX Intermediate and ten in BMX Open. The registration flow requires a LiveHeats login before fee and participant-form details appear, so no price, refund terms, waiver or guardian rule is represented as published. Spectators can follow the competition at the outdoor municipal skatepark, but the organizer has not published event-specific admission, seating, weather, accessibility or cancellation rules. City of Cockburn venue guidance identifies free parking and accessible parking at the skatepark for its current programs; those are venue facilities, not a reserved event parking plan.
