About this event

Blue Angel Snow's 35th Southern California season is a five-Saturday, all-inclusive ski and snowboard coaching camp for ages 7–16 at Mountain High Resort in Wrightwood. The 2027 sessions run January 23 and 30 and February 6, 20 and 27, with no program on February 13. Each participant commits to either skiing or snowboarding for the full series and trains with the same age- and ability-matched group of roughly 8–10 riders under a PSIA-AASI-trained instructor. The program welcomes first-timers through advanced riders and combines approximately six hours of on-snow instruction per day (about 9:30 AM–3:30 PM) with supervised free riding, mountain-safety instruction and the Skier/Rider Responsibility Code. The SoCal package includes round-trip charter-bus transportation from seven Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire and San Diego pickup points, five Mountain High lift tickets, five full days of instruction, adult supervision on and off the slopes, lunch, mountain snacks and eligible equipment-purchase discounts. Registration is open through the live SportsEngine form. The published Southern California early-bird price is $2,100 through October 31, 2026; the standard program page lists $2,200. Online card or ACH transactions add a 3% plus $1 SportsEngine management fee, while full payment by Zelle or check can avoid that fee by arrangement. New participants and a parent or legal guardian must attend one orientation; returning participants do not. Ski/snowboard equipment, properly fitted boots, waterproof clothing, a black helmet with the provided Blue Angel decal, goggles and sunscreen are required and are not included. Weather- or resort-closure postponements move to published backup Saturdays in March; missed days are not individually made up, and the organizer has a strict no-refund policy with optional cancellation insurance available.
