Ullr Fest 2027 at Diamond Peak

Ullr Fest is Diamond Peak's annual torchlight-parade winter-kickoff celebration and the signature fundraiser for the Diamond Peak Ski Team (Diamond Peak Ski Education Foundation, DPSEF). For 2027 it returns on Friday, January 29, 2027, starting at 4:00 PM at Diamond Peak Ski Resort in Incline Village on the north/east shore of Lake Tahoe. Named for Ullr, the Norse god of winter and snow long regarded as the patron of skiers, the all-ages evening centers on a torchlight parade in which skiers and snowboarders wind down the mountain (the Show Off run above the base) carrying flares/torches after dark, viewed from the Base Lodge deck. The festive lineup typically includes the torchlight parade, a bonfire, live music, raffles, food and drinks, and a costume contest, with guests encouraged to come dressed in their best Ullr attire. New for this edition, the ski team is offering a limited number of VIP tickets that include the best viewing of the torchlight parade plus two drink tickets and appetizers; general admission viewing from the base area is free/open to the community. Proceeds support DPSEF's youth ski-racing programs. As of early September 2026 the DPSEF and Diamond Peak calendars confirm the Friday, January 29, 2027, 4:00 PM date and venue; the online ticket store (TicketSpice) was still password-protected (tickets not yet on public sale) and the detailed run-of-show/end time for the 2027 edition had not been separately published, so those details should be confirmed closer to the event. Note: 2026-27 is Diamond Peak's 60th anniversary season.
