About this event
Dick Kun Kids' Ski Camp is a four-morning, invitation-only program for local Big Bear Valley students in grades 3 through 7. It runs January 5-8, 2027, from 9:00 AM to noon each day at Snow Summit. Snow Summit Race Team coaches and racers serve as camp counselors. Big Bear Mountain Resort says the memorial program carries forward former Snow Summit CEO Dick Kun's work introducing Big Bear and Southern California residents to skiing, with donations made in his memory to fund the camp. This is not a public-registration event: eligible schools have already been contacted through the Big Bear Valley school system, and families are directed to their school with questions.
