About this event
Pow-A-Bunga is Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort's annual pre-season kickoff party — billed as "the raddest pre-season party around" — held to ring in the new ski and snowboard season. For the 26/27 season it returns on Friday, November 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at The Armory in downtown Sonora, California (about 30 miles west of the resort). Guests are encouraged to break out their best 1980s neon ski-wear and dance the night away as the Dodge Ridge community celebrates the countdown to opening day. Family-built and family-loved since 1950, Dodge Ridge uses this off-mountain gathering to reunite skiers and riders ahead of the winter.
