Exposure 2026 — Women’s, Trans & Nonbinary Skateboarding Contest & Festival (15th Annual)

Exposure 2026 is the 15th annual Exposure — billed by its organizer as the world's largest and longest-running women's skateboarding event — a FREE public festival and multi-discipline contest at the Encinitas Community Park skatepark (known as "Poods"), 425 Santa Fe Drive, Encinitas, California, running Friday November 6 through Sunday November 8, 2026. Presented by the nonprofit Exposure Skate, the event celebrates the progression of women's, trans, and nonbinary skateboarding across vert, bowl, and street disciplines, and serves as a benefit whose proceeds support programs and resources for survivors of domestic violence. Registration and scoring are run by The Boardr. Competition divisions span Intermediate, Advanced, and Open/Pro across the three disciplines; within each discipline a skater may enter only one ability division. Friday (Nov 6) opens with Street Intermediate qualifiers at 2:00 PM and Street Advanced qualifiers at 3:00 PM (three-skater, three-minute jams, top eight advancing). Saturday (Nov 7) is Bowl day — Bowl Intermediate at 9:00 AM, Advanced at 10:30 AM, and Open/Pro at 1:00 PM — followed by three $800 longest-grind/slide side awards (longest frontside grind, longest backside grind, longest slide; 50-50s excluded). Sunday (Nov 8) runs Street finals in the morning, Vert Intermediate at 10:00 AM and Vert Open/Pro at 12:00 PM, plus a Vert Best Trick ($1,000 cash-for-tricks pool plus $1,500 overall) and highest-air awards (two Alaska Airlines round-trip tickets for frontside and backside), a 1:45 PM Domestic Violence Awareness presentation at the vert ramp, and Street Open/Pro at 2:00 PM with an all-competitor Best Trick ($1,500 pool plus $1,500 overall). Awards each competition day are at 4:15 PM with a 4:45 PM hard stop. Monday through Thursday of that week (Nov 2-5) are pre-event practice and vert-ramp construction days with scheduled bowl practice groups; on-site registration windows run 9:00 AM-4:00 PM on Thursday and Friday and from 8:15 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Beyond the contest, the festival features a family-friendly vendor village with games and prizes, learn-to-skate clinics for all ages, and a selection of food trucks — free for spectators, with no admission ticket. Everyone skating must complete the Exposure waiver (available online in advance), and helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads are required at the city-owned skatepark. Competitor entries are $100 per division through The Boardr; the street course is limited/smaller for this edition.
