Freestyle Ski & Snowboard Airbag Training Camp — Bear Mountain 2027

Big Bear Mountain Resort’s Freestyle Ski & Snowboard Airbag Training Camp is a 12-date progression series for adult skiers and snowboarders who already have high-intermediate to advanced ability and freestyle experience. Sessions run January 14, 15, 28 and 29; February 11, 12, 18 and 19; and March 11, 12, 18 and 19, 2027 at Bear Mountain in Big Bear Lake. Each day begins with 8:00 AM base-area check-in and an in-person waiver, followed by five hours of coached training from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the BAGJUMP Snow Landing Airbag used for lower-consequence trick practice. PSIA/AASI Freestyle-certified instructors and experienced Team Bear coaches assess participants, divide them into groups of no more than 10, review airbag safety, tailor skills to ability, and lead focused afternoon airbag practice. One day costs $525 total: $500 camp plus a required $25 combo that funds the included same-day food-and-beverage voucher. Two consecutive days cost $950 total: $900 camp plus two required $25 vouchers, a $100 saving versus two single days. Terrain access and equipment are not included; every participant must already have a valid day lift ticket or season pass and arrive fully equipped. Online reservations are required at least two days before arrival, while same-day window sales may be available only if capacity remains. The product is non-refundable, non-transferable, not for resale, and assigned to one participant. Bear Mountain is in San Bernardino County within the Inland Empire and is LA-relevant because a snow landing airbag and lift-served freestyle terrain require a purpose-built mountain venue unavailable in central Los Angeles.
