About this event
Golden State South Interscholastic Cycling League is bringing its Teen Trail Corps to Midland School in Los Olivos on Saturday, September 26. This youth mountain-bike stewardship day gives student-athletes a chance to earn school volunteer hours, help prepare local trails, learn trail-work techniques and preview parts of the course that will host the league’s next two festival weekends. Golden State South says its local teams prepare race venues with guidance from Sage Trail Alliance; participants should RSVP through their local coach and bring riding gear, water and lunch, while work gloves and additional trail tools are useful. Teen Trail Corps is NICA’s service-and-advocacy program for developing responsible trail users through riding, respect, service and speaking up for access. The current event page, calendar and exact September 21 organizer post all confirm the September 26 date and Midland School address, but they do not publish arrival, work-session, ride or dismissal times.
