Grand Targhee New Year's Torchlight Parade & Fireworks 2026
About this event
Grand Targhee closes out 2026 with its free New Year's Eve Torchlight Parade and fireworks show. Skiers and riders ages 6+ can sign up in person at the Activity Center beginning December 14 at 9:00 AM; space is limited and registration closes at noon on December 31. The kids' parade uses glow sticks on Little Bighorn, the adult parade uses road flares, and fireworks follow at 6:15 PM. Spectating from the Plaza or Dreamcatcher base is free and open to the public.
At a glance
Skiers and riders ages 6+. The kids' parade is ages 6-12; the adult parade is ages 13+. A parent may accompany a child under 10, or a child not comfortable skiing Little Bighorn alone, but the parent must also sign up.
