About this event
The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club hosts its annual Community Ski & Sport Swap, presented by F.M. Light & Sons, on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Shoppers buy new and used ski and snowboard equipment, outdoor gear, sporting goods, and winter clothing ahead of the season inside Olympian Hall and on the outside back lawn. Early-bird shopping runs 10-11 a.m. ($15 per person paid at the door), general public shopping is free from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and unsold items are picked up from 2-3 p.m. Sellers pick up tags ($1 per five) at the SSWSC office on the second floor of the Howelsen Hill Lodge starting October 13, drop gear off Thursday, October 22 (noon-6 p.m.) or Friday, October 23 (10 a.m.-2 p.m.), keep 65% of each sale (SSWSC retains 35%), and are paid by check the following week. Proceeds benefit SSWSC athletes.
