About this event
Kirkwood Mountain Resort hosts an IFSA-sanctioned adult Freeride World Qualifier (FWQ) 2* big-mountain competition on February 24, 2027, organized by Tahoe Freeride. Adult ski and snowboard men and women are judged on a steep natural Sierra venue and earn points toward the FWT-IFSA Qualifier global seeding list, the IFSA Qualifier Region 2 (Americas) 2027 rankings, and the 2028 World Championships qualifying seeding list. It is a competitor event: athletes register through Liveheats during a set window and must hold current IFSA membership; it is not a public recreational race.
